LOVE AMONG THE FLAMES

It was a hot and windy morning in Charras.
When Carlos went running in town, he saw fire near the peanut factory.
Immediately he called the firefighters. The firefighters extinguished it.
The people were working there. They ran when they realized that the houses, the sports centre and the trees were burning. The police evacuated the houses. Carlos ran into the factory and saw his daughter, Judit, surrounded by flames. He grabbed a bucket with sand and he used it to extinguish the flames. He hugged Judit and decided to leave the town. A few years later they moved back to the town again.
Nowadays Carlos runs every morning as usual and Judit works in the factory.

A Fabulous Rescue (Tamara Palacios)

The protagonists of the story were Tamara Palacios and Leonardo Riva. Tamara was 22 and Leo 24. They were eating in a restaurant. Suddenly they saw people screaming and running in one direction. They left the restaurant and saw a burning building. People were trapped inside. Tamara and Leo pushed the door and knocked it down. Flames came out from the door. They weren´t able to enter the building. An old woman´s life was in danger. They climbed to the balcony as the lady was trapped. They both helped . Some neighbours gave the blanket to cover her using a rope. Their action was risky. Surely that day tamara and leo became heroes.

Story of a survivor (Ariel Arias)

My name is Jerry. I am 37 years old. My family is composed of my wife Megan, 34, my little daughter Elizabeth, 2 years old and my son, James, 3 months. My famly and I moved to Indonesia because my father-in-law gave us lands there as a part of his heritage. I was in charge of the plantation. Everthing started in May 1883 when eruptions from the volcano began. We lived in the island of Fourth Point. It was 50 km. away from the volcano. From the entrance of our house we had a good view of it. The eruptions started. Megan begged me not to leave the island but I didtn´t listen. On 27th August I wake up early because I listened a big explosion in the morning. That day the employees came early to help my wife with the housework. I was up on the roof when I listened a big explosion, and I see a big cloud of smoke in the sky. Then I went down the stairs and took my daugther. My wife took my son...

MIFORT, TO BE RESCUE! (Cindy Herrera)

This story happened in May, in Córdoba, Argentina. We received a letter about a dog. It was locked in a cybercafé since February.
Carlisle Weber told us that Mifort took his hand and muzzle out through one of the windows of the cybercafé. Many times, Mifort ignored the food.
He preferred to lay and Carlisle gave it a stroke. Some people came and looked.
They were very curious.
Carlisle always spoke to and fed Mifort. He proposed to contact the owner of the shop. He sent a letter to the "BRIGADE FOR ANIMALS" on March 27th.
Alice Saint and Rosario Black, volunteers of "THE BRIGADE", decided go and rescue him. On June 2th the volunteers rescued Mifort. They arrived to the neighbourhood. It called the neighbour's attention that Alice and Rosario decided to rescue a Dog. Some people told the problems they could have. A relative of the shop owner told them to return in three weeks when the owner came back from a trip. Three weeks! It was ridiculous! Mifort had to get out from this place!
Mr. Weber called the locksmith to take Mifort out. Mifort was shrunk and frightened. He broke the lock and took him out.
Mrs. Saint communicated the big piece of news to everyone. Mifort was already out. Carlisle took Mifort to a vet. The vet checked him. He was in good health.
Good news! Carlisle adopted Mifort. Now he is very happy and at home!

"A not so usual day" (Virginia Cardetti)

The story took place one Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Eva was walking in the park with Licka, her dog, a Golden Retriever. Meanwhile, some people were walking and others were having a picnic. When they were passing by some games, some children were playing and a boy, Gillian, was playing with his father Otto, a police officer. A child fell from the slide. He started to cry. Otto ran to help him. He saved the child and every one clapped. Suddenly a snake was getting closer to Gillian! When Licka saw it, she ran and bit the snake. She saved Gillian. In the end, every one saw what happened and they clapped again. Otto thanked Licka. A few days later, Licka went to the town hall and the governor gave her a certificate for bravery.

Welcome!

This blogspot has been designed to show my students' works done during this school year. In spite of the fact that the subject is curricular, we spend several hours per module for  communication workshops... and the results are here. Enjoy them!
